My car might not be as beautiful as some of the others here, but other than the bad body work and too-small wheel/tire package (which were there when I bought the car) I am pretty proud of it. My first old car (unless you call 1985 old... and yes it was a Buick too), it is a simple 2bbl skylark with an unverified, but highly suspected 3.08 rear end. There were no options other than power steering, and there even appears to be no sign of any original radio equipment (someone put in some cheesy equipment at some point, so unless I find the build sheet I have no way of knowing if it is truly radio delete).
No Power Brakes
Manual Windows and Locks
Hotchkis Springs/KYB Shocks (Installed by me)
New Distributor (still stock points type)
73,000 original miles
I drive this every day during the summer, except when the brake lines (hard lines) rust through like right now
I am the 3rd owner, originally from an hour south of me, it has stayed in the rust-prone upstate NY all its life.
